Robert “Bob” Richard Caywood, 63, of Heyburn, Idaho, passed away peacefully at home on November 7, 2024. He was born February 22, 1961 in Nampa, Idaho to Richard Bryan and Mary Anna Caywood. The youngest of 4 children, Bob was mischievous from an early age and had a unique sense of humor. On April 7, 1989 he married Freda Chandler, who was by his side until the end. They had one daughter Emily, who was his pride & joy. Bob was an avid outdoorsman and spent time hunting & fishing every chance he got. Bob loved teaching kids to hunt and fish. He volunteered many years with Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, and Hunter’s Ed courses. Bob’s two grandchildren kept him on his toes and brought him great joy. Some of their best memories are fishing and camping with Grandpa. Bob was a loyal friend and would do anything for someone who needed help. He will be greatly missed by many.
Bob is survived by his wife Freda, daughter Emily (Chase), grandchildren Addison & Noah, brother Dennis (Bonnie), sisters Judy & Jan, and countless friends & extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is reunited with his favorite hunting dogs, Abbi & Dakota.
A casual celebration of life is planned for Saturday November 16, 2024 at 1pm at Hampton Inn (560 Hampton Drive, Burley, ID 83318). Please join Bob’s family to remember him & share a meal.
