William Peer was born and raised in Boise, ID to Charles Winton and Myrtle Melvina Peer. He is the youngest of 2 brothers.  He joined the U.S. Navy in 1956,  retired June 1, 1976, with a tour in Vietnam. He spent the last 14 years residing in Heyburn, ID where he passed with his immediate family surrounding him. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Florence Peer, his 2 sons William (Bill) and Daniel Peer, 5 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at Morrison Funeral Home & Crematory located at 188 South Highway 24 Rupert, ID on April 11, 2025 begining at 11:00 a.m.
