Gary Comish Christensen 89, of Oakley Idaho,  a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, in Logan Utah.

Gary was born March 20, 1936, in Soda Springs Idaho, second son of Otto and Nola Christensen.

Gary was a dedicated husband to Rheta Dee Layton, his loving wife of 66 years. A devoted father to Kellee (Harwood), Karla (Fowler) Kolette (Cleaveland) Layton Christensen, and Lance Christensen. Gary had 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A viewing for friends and family will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2025 at the Oakley Stake Center, in Oakley Idaho.  A graveside service will immediately follow at the Oakley Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home
