Donna Lee Hart

Donna Lee Hart returned to her heavenly home on April 18, 2026.
Donna was born on August 8, 1940, in Rupert, Idaho, to Ronald and Verna Hawkes. She was first married to Jerry Lee Mecham, and from this union were born her sons, Danny Lee Mecham and David Wayne Mecham.

She later married George Hart and lovingly welcomed his children—Randy, Debbie, and Wes—into their blended family. Together, Donna and George had a son, Travis Dean Hart.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Verna Hawks; her brothers, Glen
and Phil; her sisters, MarGene and Janet; her beloved husband, George Hart; and her grandson-in-law, Charlie Little.

She is survived by her children: Randy (Janell) Hart, Wes (Gail) Hart, Debbie (Kent) Schipporeit, Danny (Roilene) Mecham, David Mecham, and Travis (Coliese) Hart. She is also survived by her sisters Faye (Dennis)Dixon, VerRona Harper, and Dianne LaRoque, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Donna will be remembered for her deep love of family, her strength, and the warmth she brought into the lives of all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held on May 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Community Church in Rupert, Idaho.
