Connie Barros, 58, of Burley Id, joined her mother in Heaven on November 18, 2014; she was born May 15, 1956 in San Diego Ca. She moved to Idaho in 1998 and settled in the town of Burley. She became a secretary and member of the Little Flower Catholic Church for many years and recently worked for Morrison Payne Funeral Home. Growing up, Connie stayed devoted to her faith and family, She graduated from Calipatria High School and even won several Beauty Queen Pageants. Connie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and socializing with her friends. Some of her favorite hobbies included, baking, watching novelas, gardening, and mostly being involved in her church. Her number one priority in life was her children and grandchildren, who loved her very much.  She is survived by her father, Roque Barros; her children, Becky Taylor, Veronica Robles, Alex Nava, and Andres Nava; her siblings, Emma Orozco, Robert Barros, John Barros, Roque Barros Jr., and Julie Barros; her grandchildren, Roger Robles, Mario Robles, Samantha Sanchez, Rena Bowen Nava, Thomas Bimat, Isaac Rauh, Bonnie Taylor, Naomi Robles, Ambreah Nava-Bell and Zachary Taylor Jr.  She is proceeded in death by her mother, Lupita Barros, her niece Valerie Orozco, her grandmother Mama Chello, her uncle Joe Barros, and her cousin Lupe Barros.  A Vigil service with recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2014, at Little Flower Catholic Church, 1601 Oakley Ave. in Burley with  Father Julio Vicente  as celebrant. The funeral Mass will follow immediately after the rosary. Burial will be in Gem Memorial Gardens in Burley.   Friends and family may call Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at the Morrison Payne Funeral Home, 321 East Main Street in Burley.
