BURLEY - Leonnie Rae Bay, 69 year old Burley resident, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at her home in Burley surrounded by her family. Leonnie was born May 26, 1949 in Medford, Oregon, the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth Jackson Harp. She married Bob Bay on April 28, 1971 in Reno, Nevada. Leonnie was a self employed Cosmetologist and worked for M.D.C. helping children with special needs. She was an active member of the Burley First Presbyterian Church where she held the office of Deacon. She was an auxiliary member of the V.F.W. in California and also here with the Mini-Cassia V.F. W. Leonnie had many loves, including the outdoors where she loved to fish and hunt, she loved to sew and quilt. She loved to travel especially to the coast but most of all she loved her family. Leonnie is survived by her husband Bob of Burley, her children, Bridget (Tony) of Heyburn, Nedde of Northern California. Her siblings, Helen (Frank) of Burley, Ricky (Dody) and Billy (Rhonda) both of Reno, NV. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ashley (James) of Declo, Josh of Jerome, Gino of Pocatello. She also has 7 great-grandchildren who survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Lloyd. In keeping with Leonnie's wishes, no formal services will be held. Cremation services are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
