Lindsey Rose Moon gently passed into eternal life March 13, 2021 following a brief illness at Cassia hospital with loved ones beside her.
Lindsey was born August 28, 1981 in Kalispell, Montana to Kristen Moon who loved and nurtured her throughout her life. She spent her first years in Kalispell and Sandpoint, Idaho. Joining the Pierson Family in 1986 where she shared love with a Mother and Father, 3 brothers and later a little sister and several foster brothers and sisters entered the family.
Lindsey attended schools in Sandpoint, the Portland, Oregon area and Rupert, Idaho enjoying special education classes and teachers who loved her. As an adult she enjoyed fellowship and friendship at MDC in Burley. Always maintaining a close relationship with her mother and extended family.
Lindsey’s health required many surgeries and she received excellent care at Shriners Hospitals in Spokane, Washington, Portland, Oregon and Salt Lake City, Utah.
Without words, Lindsey communicated love, caring and fun. She adored children and babies and would laugh and smile watching them play, joining in games of pat-a-cake and pass the toy. Children were drawn to her. As the family grew, little cousins, nieces and nephews would rush to find Lindsey and share her smiles and laughter. She loved their interaction.
Adults were also drawn to Lindsey. Many friends found tender caring and healing in her special, God given radiance and love. There was an unmistakable peace and spirit about her that blessed us all.
She leaves behind her a presence of peace and joy and a knowing that she is experiencing all that we take for granted. We feel her encouragement to enjoy and use it well.
Her Parents: Kristen and Dave Turner, Rick and Patty Pierson, Grandparents: Joyce and Edley Moon and Glenna Ramsey, her siblings: Chuck and Aubrie Pierson, Jim and Kiersten Pierson, Tyler and Natalie Pierson, Amy Pierson and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, Aunts and Uncles join in gratitude for the gift of loving Lindsey; looking forward to being with her eternally. She is forever loved.
In lieu of flowers, may we suggest a gift to Shriner’s hospitals in Lindsey’s name. . Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Heyburn 1st Ward Building, 530 Villa Dr. in Heyburn.
