Ricky "Rick" Brian Lambert, 59, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021 at his home in Heyburn, ID. Rick was born September 7, 1961 to James and Betty Lambert in Riverside, CA., the youngest of six children.
Rick was raised and educated for the most part in Riverside, CA. He and his family moved from Riverside to Bullhead, AZ. during his teen years. He then graduated from Mohave Valley High School, in Bullhead, AZ. in 1980. Rick received a technical certificate in diesel mechanics from MMI, in Phoenix, AZ., shortly after high school graduation. Rick used his mechanical talent working for Double L., in Blackfoot, ID. Then moved to Rupert, ID to work for Magic Valley Equipment, and finally PCA in Burley where he retired.
When Rick moved to Idaho he was introduced to his soul mate, Wendy. Rick and Wendy were married Aug. 19, 1986. From this union they were blessed with three children.
Rick was an avid outdoorsman. He loved riding dirt bikes, side x sides, and taking long drives with his family. He especially loved to hunt and fish with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Wendy; children, Travis Secor, Bailey (Ryan) Mcclaflin, Cody Zmrzel, Lindsey (Michael) Goldaraz, Trey (Nikki) Lambert, 1 granddaughter that he raised as his own; Mckenzie Rose, 11 grandchildren, and his siblings Virginia (Vernon) Hulsey, Linda (Tom) Weathers, James Lambert. He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister-in-law; Sandra Lambert.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Morrison Funeral Home, 188 ID-24, Rupert, ID 83350. Service will conclude with a burial at Paul Cemetery for family and friend
