Bobby Keith Hardy (Bob) was born in Sublett, Idaho, January 11,1940 to Lessel and Isabell Hardy. He had 4 brothers and 4 sisters. He grew up in Acequia, Mackay, and Rupert, Idaho where he attended schools.
After graduating from Minico High School in 1958, Bob travelled around the country. Bob served in the army from 1963 to 1965 in Alaska. Bobby married Angela Schaeffer on Nov. 25, 1967. They traveled the northern part of Idaho every week when they could get away. They loved going to Mackay, Idaho in the summer where Bobby’s eldest brother lived. They were part of the Mackay clan. There were always stories to tell, lots of coffee drinking, laughter, and of course there was always that ‘Hardy boy smile’.
Bobby worked at various jobs. He worked for Idaho potato inspector service, Max Herbolds, and Sun Valley Potatoes (when he retired). Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, and 3 brothers. He is survived by his wife, Angela of 53 years. 2 sons: Travis (Eileen) Hardy of Heyburn, and Chris Hardy of Nampa. 5 grandchildren: Jerica, Colton, Isaac, Katelyn, and Bethany. A brother Ernie (Hope) Hardy of Blackfoot, Idaho, and a sister, June Lewis of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bob passed away at the Idaho State Veterans Home on Sept.24, 2021 from complications. Bobby, we love you and miss you. Bobby requested no services.
