Melanie Whitmore Draper, passed away at Pomerelle Place in Burley, Idaho on December 14, at 10:12 pm. Melanie battled dementia for 13 years before dying from complications related to it. She is survived by her husband, James McQuaid Whitmore, and two children, Emily Jane Whitmore (spouse Hannah Green), and Glenn Stephen Whitmore (spouse Sandra Whitmore). She is survived by seven siblings and five of her husband’s siblings. Melanie loved her dogs as her children and always had one to three dogs around her. She was a loving and caring person, who enjoyed having her family around. The family will not be having services. In leu of flowers, please send money in Melanie’s name to Minidoka’s Animal Shelter or to the Alzheimer’s Association.
