OBIT FOR BEVERLY JEAN “BJ” MORGAN

Beverly Jean “BJ” Morgan, 91 of Burley was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven February 15, 2022.

BJ was born to Jack and Marie Hendricks on December 31, 1930, in Lafayette, Indiana.  She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Albert Collins. She attended school in Lafayette and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1949.  Following graduation, she traveled to many states, Texas, Nevada, New Mexico, California, Oregon, and Idaho.

On June 21, 1986, BJ met and married her one true love, John Morgan in Eugene, OR.  They moved to Idaho in the late 90’s.  When they moved to Burley, she managed Waltco Mobile Home Park for many years.  She could be found mowing lawns around the park as recently as last summer.  BJ liked a tidy lawn.

BJ attended Hope Community Church in Paul where she loved to volunteer in the Food Pantry.  She also enjoyed volunteering at the Mobile Food Pantry in Rupert each month where she offered biscuits to all the dogs that came through the line.  She enjoyed volunteering at the Christmas Council.  BJ always had a heart for those in need.

BJ was preceded in death by her husband, John Morgan (12/31/2020).  She is survived by her grandson DJ Moss (Crystal) of Hawaii and two great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her faithful furry friend, Teddy.

A Celebration of Life will be held March 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Community Church, 25 N 4^th St. E, Paul, ID with the Reverend Warren Rachele officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Waggin Tails Rescue, 1015 I St., Rupert, ID, or Pocatello Animal Shelter, 3100 Ave. of the Chiefs, Pocatello, ID 83201 or Hope Community Food Pantry, PO Box 10, Paul, ID  83347.
