Karen E. Kay Simplot Hall passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at her residence in Burley, Idaho at the age of 82. She was born on April 22, 1940 to Robert and Janet Simplot. Later to be joined by a sister Jacque and brother Robert. She graduated from Raft River High School in 1958. She attended Links Business College in Boise, Idaho. She worked for the Cassia County School District for many years. She married Bruce Hall in Buhl, Idaho on February 24, 1961. They had four children, Rick (Brenda), Jeff (Kathy), Bethea, and Jan. She is survived by her husband and children, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her brother Robert. She is preceded in death by her parents, in laws, and sister. As with her wishes there will be no service. A private graveside will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Kelly Anderson and his staff and the staff at Intermountain Health and Hospice for the great care you have her. Thank you to Scot, Brian, Kathy and Stephanie.

Kay, Jacque, and Robert are my cousins. I remember visiting their home in Malta as a young girl. Kay and Jacque were quite a bit older than me and my siblings but they would paint my fingernails in their what I remember as a fancy bathroom, while the adults were talking.
