Amanda Coralee Jenkins

Amanda was born on September 12, 1978, joining her parents, Dave Jenkins, Shawna Huettig Jenkins Stephenson, and older brother Joshua Jenkins.

Amanda was joined later by two more brothers Jeremiah and Austin Stephenson.  Amanda was one of God’s special angels and faced many challenges and fragile health.  She lived her life with unparalleled determination, courage and joy.  She was a great source of inspiration to all who knew and loved her.

Amanda resided in Jerome, Idaho since the age of 18, in the loving care of the amazing people of Communicare of Idaho who provided an environment that enabled her to bloom and enjoy all the simple pleasures of life that she held dear.

Amanda was called home by our Heavenly Father on May 22, 2024, surrounded by love.  She will be greatly missed. We who loved her will always cherish and be thankful for the blessing of the time we were able to have with her.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday June 1, 2024, from 3:00 – 5:00 at Morrison Funeral Home located at 188 S. Highway 24, Rupert, Idaho.

I loved and took care of "Jenkies" (our cute nickname for her) for 22 years at BMW and later it changed to communicare. We had many many laughs fun and good times . Amanda will be missed so very much by us all. My heart is with Shawna as her and I spent the last night with Amanda. I want to thank Shawna for letting us care for and love her daughter.
