Pat Paslay, aka Paz Man 65, of Rupert Idaho passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 17, 2024. A casual Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 6 on Tuesday February 6th, at Moreys steakhouse Burley Idaho, followed by a continued celebration at the Skyline Jackson Idaho.
Pat was born on February 18th, 1958, in California, spending his early years in Topeka, Kansas. As a teenager he moved to the Rupert area to live with his father where he grew to love the mountains and the adventures that came with them skiing, fishing, camping, etc. It was no surprise Idaho is where he planted his roots, remaining in the area fostering friendships that have been in place for years.
He'd recently retired from the trucking/excavating industry. Working for local companies such as Transystems and Hoffco.
Pat will be greatly missed as a father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his daughters, Brandi (Jason) Gillen of Star, ID and Nasha (Shane) Olsen of Oakley, ID and grandchildren, Julien, Jaidon, Dontea, Braxton, Ayden and Adalynn. Siblings Roxane Alexander Topeka, KS, Greg (Kathy) Paslay Orland, CA, Lisa (Kevin) Owen, Eagle ID and Shelly (Greg) Liby, Meriden, KS along with several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Nancy & Mort Paslay and his brother Doug Paslay.
